About Rad Games
A game studio that builds its own engine.
Rad Games is the game studio of IDFire Technologies Inc. We make two universes of games — Puppies vs. Kittens and RiftBleed — and we build Janus, the AI-native engine they run on.
How we’re built
Rad Games is to Janus what Epic Games is to Unreal.
The studio and the engine live under one roof, and they make each other better. Our games push Janus to do new things, and Janus lets a focused team build worlds that would otherwise take a much bigger one.
Janus is still its own product. Anyone can build with it, and our games are simply its first customers — held to the same engine everyone else gets.

What we believe
Fun is the job. Everything else is how we get there.
Fun first. Always.
Every game has to be genuinely fun and stand on its own before anything else. That’s the first gate, and nothing gets past it — not a feature, not a technology, not a clever idea.
The games lead the engine
Our games ask for what they need, and Janus grows to meet them in ways any studio can use. An engine feature earns its place by making a game better — never the other way round.
Fair by design
No loot boxes, no gacha and no pay-to-win, in any of our games. If you pay, you know exactly what you’re getting, and it never buys power.
Safe for every age
Puppies vs. Kittens is made for players of every age, so privacy and safety are built in from the first line of code, not added at the end.
Our universes
One warm. One dark. Both ours.
Puppies vs. KittensEight puppies and eight kittens play one game every day in a sunny neighborhood. Four games: Zoomies, Hide & Squeak, Paw of Cards and Litter Squad. Warm, cozy and made for every age.See the games
RiftBleedTwo Earths — one where magic won, one where technology won — bleeding into each other. Five games: Hollowshot, Deepfrost, Killwall, Silent Echo and Broken Glass. Dark action for mature players.See the games Janus Engine
The engine we wished existed, so we built it.
Janus is an AI-native game engine. Alongside it is Janus Studio, seventeen game-creation tools that run in your browser — the same pipelines we use for our own art, audio and prototypes — and Game Genie, which turns a sentence into a playable game.
