Introducing Game Genie

Describe a game in a sentence. A few seconds later, you’re playing it. Meet the Janus game-building agent.

Playable in seconds

Game Genie is the fastest way we know to go from an idea to something you can play. Describe a game in a sentence. A few seconds later, you’re playing it — right in your browser.

How it works

Game Genie is the Janus game-building agent. Give it a prompt — “a kitten hopping between rooftops, collecting stars,” say — and it writes a complete, playable browser game. Pick the engine that fits: Phaser for 2D, Three.js for 3D, or plain canvas when you want it lean.

Then keep going. Ask for a double jump, a boss, a title screen. Game Genie edits the game it already made instead of starting over, so every change builds on the last.

Bring your own art and sound

Drop in sprites and sounds from your Janus Studio library — a character from Sprite Forge, a loop from Music Studio, an effect from SFX Lab — and Game Genie wires them into the game.

Share it

When it’s ready, publish it to the Janus Arcade, where anyone can play games made with Janus. A fast run costs 5 credits and a Pro run, for bigger ideas, costs 20 — and the price is always on the button before you click.
