Puppies vs. Kittens: meet the Pack and the Clowder

Eight puppies, eight kittens, one sunny neighborhood and the best hour of the day. Here’s the story behind our warmest universe — and the four games growing out of it.

Puppies racing across a sunny backyard lawn while kittens watch from the fence top, a windowsill and the porch railing.

In one sunny neighborhood live eight puppies and eight kittens. The puppies own the ground and the yard; the kittens own everything high — the fences, the rooftops, the windowsills. Every day they play one game: Puppies vs. Kittens. It’s the best hour of the day.

Nobody ever really wins, and nobody wants to. The game is how they all stay together. They’re rivals while it’s on, and friends the second it’s over.

Two ways to love the same game

The Pack goes wide. Puppies want everyone — the whole yard, the rally, the pile. The Clowder goes tall. Kittens want someone — the one perfect spot, the one perfect play. Neither side is wrong, and that tension is the heart of the whole series.

Every animal in the house wants one specific thing, and what they want is how they play. Poko the French Bulldog wants to be looked at, so he taunts. Nori the Dachshund wants his exact spot, so he holds it and grows stronger the longer he stays. Pip the Golden Retriever wants to be useful, so she fetches everything in sight. Mimi the Siamese wants an answer, so she asks — loudly.

Nobody gets hurt

The battles in Puppies vs. Kittens are imaginary. They’re playing. Anyone who’s out is sent home for a nap, and comes right back. Even the house’s three great legends — The Mailman, The Vacuum and the Trash-Panda King — are everyday things the animals have turned into monsters, never real threats.

Four games, one house

  • Zoomies — the yard game at full tilt, as a one-thumb bullet-heaven.
  • Hide & Squeak — the night version: co-op, spooky-cute survival.
  • Paw of Cards — the game as a roguelike deckbuilder.
  • Litter Squad — the game as teams: an auto-battler against other players’ ghost squads.

Zoomies comes first, built for the App Store, Google Play and Steam. The whole series shares one look: warm, soft and cute-but-grown-up — the kind of cute you can love at any age.
