Our games are about play: puppies and kittens who are rivals on the clock and friends off it, and RiftBleed players chasing the next run. Janus Studio and the Arcade are about making things. These rules keep all of it safe, fair and fun.
They apply to everyone, everywhere in our Services: in-game, in chat, in display names, in everything you create, prompt, publish or remix, and in our official community spaces. They work together with our Terms of Service and the Janus Studio & Credits Terms. The examples below aren’t a complete list; if something is clearly against the spirit of these rules, it’s not allowed.
- Be kind. No hate, harassment, threats or bullying.
- Keep personal information private — yours and everyone else’s.
- Play fair: no cheats, exploits or bots.
- Create responsibly: no stolen IP, deepfakes, sexual content or malware.
- Zero tolerance for anything that endangers children.
This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what governs.
1.Protect personal information
Don’t share, or threaten to share, anyone’s real name, address, phone number, school, workplace, photos, account details or other personal information (“doxxing”). We strongly suggest you don’t share your own, either. Display names are fine.
2.No hate or discrimination
Everyone is welcome here. Don’t attack, demean, dehumanize or exclude people because of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, serious illness or veteran status. No hate symbols, slurs or praise of hate groups or violent extremists, including in usernames, game titles and generated content.
3.No bullying or harassment
Don’t threaten, intimidate, stalk, insult or repeatedly target anyone, and don’t encourage others to do it. Don’t send unwanted sexual messages or content. Friendly trash talk about a match is part of games; making someone feel unsafe is not.
4.Be yourself
Don’t pretend to be another player, a creator, a public figure, or a member of the Rad Games or Janus team, and don’t take credit for someone else’s work. Remixes in the Arcade must keep the link back to the original.
5.Play fair
Don’t use or share cheats, hacks, bots or macros, exploit bugs, boost accounts, or manipulate leaderboards, Arcade plays or likes. Don’t deliberately ruin other players’ games (griefing). Found a bug or exploit? Report it to us instead of using it.
6.Create responsibly
Everything you make, prompt or publish with Janus Studio or in the Arcade must follow these rules and the prohibited-content rules in the Janus Studio & Credits Terms. In particular:
- only use material you have the right to use, and don’t upload or generate copies of other people’s characters, art, music or logos;
- don’t create realistic depictions or voices of real people without their consent, or deepfakes meant to deceive;
- no sexually explicit content, and no gratuitous gore;
- Arcade games must not contain malware, phishing, cryptocurrency mining, hidden data collection, ads, payment requests or links designed to trick players; and
- don’t remove AI-provenance labels to pass off generated content as something it’s not.
7.Nothing dangerous or illegal
Don’t use our Services to promote, organize or carry out illegal or dangerous activity, including real-money gambling, the sale of drugs or weapons, terrorism, human trafficking, swatting, or content that glorifies real-world violence or encourages self-harm or suicide. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
8.No scams, spam or account trading
Don’t try to get other people’s passwords, API keys, payment details or accounts. Don’t buy, sell or trade accounts, items or credits outside the features we provide. Don’t spam, post misleading links, or advertise “free credits” or “free currency” — they are always scams.
9.Child safety: zero tolerance
Many of our players are kids. We do not allow any content or behavior that sexualizes or exploits children, and we act immediately on it. This includes:
- creating, requesting or sharing child sexual abuse material, including drawn, animated or AI-generated depictions, or any content that sexualizes a minor or a character who appears to be a minor;
- grooming: befriending or contacting a child to build trust for sexual purposes, or asking a child for images, personal details or to move to another app;
- sextortion or threatening a child with images of them; and
- encouraging children to take part in dangerous challenges, eating disorders, self-harm, or the use of drugs, alcohol, vapes or other age-restricted products.
We remove this content, close the accounts involved, and report child sexual exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement where appropriate.
10.What happens when rules are broken
We decide each case individually, considering how serious it is, the harm caused, the context, and the account’s history. Depending on the case, we may:
- warn you or ask you to change something;
- remove content, unpublish an Arcade game, or block a prompt;
- restrict features such as chat, publishing, AI tools or the API;
- suspend your account temporarily; or
- permanently ban your account and any linked or replacement accounts.
A permanent ban can mean losing the games, Virtual Items, credits and other content linked to the account, as described in our Terms of Service. We use automated tools to help detect violations, and people review appeals.
Appeals
If you think we got it wrong, email legal@radgames.ai within 6 months of the decision, with your account email and what happened. A person who wasn’t involved in the original decision will review it and tell you the outcome. If you live in the EU, you may also use a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body.
11.Reporting
Help us keep the community great. To report a player, a game or content, use the report button where available, or email legal@radgames.ai with a link or description. If you’re just not getting along with someone who isn’t breaking the rules, block or mute them. For copyright complaints, use our Copyright & DMCA process.
12.Staying safe
Never share your password or API keys — our staff will never ask for them. Be wary of links and offers that seem too good to be true. Parents can use device and app-store parental controls to manage play time, purchases and communication; see our Privacy Policy for how we protect younger players.
These rules may change as our community grows, so check back from time to time. Thanks for helping make our games a good place to play and create.
