This Cookie Policy explains how IDFire Technologies Inc. and its affiliates, Rad Games and Janus Engine, use cookies and similar technologies on our websites and in Janus Studio. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

The short version
  • We use one essential first-party cookie, rg_sid, to keep your session, credits and files together.
  • Janus Studio has no third-party advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking.
  • Stripe sets its own cookies only on its checkout pages, to prevent fraud.

This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what governs.

1.What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember you between pages and visits. Similar technologies include local storage (data a site keeps in your browser) and software development kits (SDKs) in apps. In this policy, “cookies” covers all of them.

First-party cookies are set by the site you’re visiting; third-party cookies are set by another company. Session cookies disappear when you close your browser; persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them.

2.Cookies we use

Some Janus Studio tools also use your browser’s local storage to remember preferences and work in progress, such as the last settings you used in a tool. That data stays on your device; we don’t read it for tracking.

We do not currently use analytics cookies. If we add analytics, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

3.No advertising cookies

We do not use third-party advertising or social-media tracking cookies on Janus Studio, the Arcade or our websites, and we do not allow ad networks to track you across sites through them.

In our mobile games, any ads are contextual and are delivered by an ad SDK configured so that it does not use device identifiers for behavioral advertising or cross-app tracking. In games directed to children, we follow the additional protections described in the Privacy Policy.

4.Your choices

Because rg_sid is strictly necessary to provide the service you ask for, we don’t ask for consent before setting it, and the law (including the EU ePrivacy rules) doesn’t require us to. You can still block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but if you block rg_sid, you won’t be able to sign in or keep guest credits and files, and Janus Studio won’t work properly.

Your browser’s help pages explain how to manage cookies, for example in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge. We treat Global Privacy Control signals as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information (we don’t do either).

5.Changes and contact

We will update this policy if the cookies we use change, and revise the “Last updated” date above. Questions: privacy@radgames.ai.
